There are wide and varied requirements placed upon a sports floor, not least the type of activities which it will be expected to accommodate. Each installation will therefore, require analysis of such requirements before an appropriate floor can be selected. As a result, it has made it necessary for us to develop a wide range of quality products which offer solutions concerning both the function of the sports floor as well as aspects relating to life cycle and maintenance costs.
At DLW we believe we have a portfolio of products that meet such
rigorous demands. Our production line can produce a wide range of
qualities in an array of colours. Furthermore, with a thickness of
4 millimetres, our flooring products exceed standard requirements by
25 per cent. This not only guarantees excellent wear resistance but also
guarantees a product with a correspondingly long wear life. Often the
greatest stress and strain that a sports floor must endure is not that
which is caused as a result of everyday sporting activity but by mat
trolleys or other heavy equipment on wheels moving over the floor’s
surface. Particular wear is exerted by mobile stands for spectators,
which when full puts enormous stress upon the floor due to the overall
weight being loaded upon it. Similarly, dragging empty stands over the
floor is a real test of a floor’s durability.
Due to a great variety of designs and colours you can give your floor individual character; it is even possible to decorate it with the inlaid logo of your sports club, school etc.
